Sourcing our stone

We source our stone using a number of criteria. This includes the ability to source certain volumes at predictable intervals, but more importantly the grading of the stone, the colours of the stone and the consistency of the stone

We source our stone predominantly from Irish quarries and, over the years, have come to realise that we need quarries who are able to deliver high grade stone, reliably and on time, with consistency.

One of the great skills of craftsmanship with any natural stone is judging, assessing and grading it. Primarily we call ourselves craftsmen and this is based on not just working the material but also knowing the material through and through.
